Миф №1.
Все шары одинаковы – ими можно играть независимо от времени года.
На самом деле. Для каждого сезона существуют свои шары: зимние и летние. Отличие – в составляющих, из которых их производят. Так, оболочку для зимних шаров делают более эластичной, в наполнителе используют иные, чем для летних шаров, ингредиенты, благодаря которым краска дольше не замерзает, риск того, что маркер перестанет работать, снижается, значит, удовольствие от игры продлевается. Для того, чтобы дольше играть в пейнтбол в холодное время года, выбирайте только зимние шары. Ими, кстати, можно играть и летом. А вот летними – зимой не стоит.
Миф №2.
Зимние шары от летних легко отличить. На самом деле. При игре зимой – да. По внешнему же виду коробки не всегда. Некоторые производители могут маркировать зимние шары специальными знаками (winter, ice, значком «снежинка» и т.д.). Но часто бывает, что на коробках нет никаких отличительных знаков, и тогда только поставщик знает по номеру лота, какого типа эти шары.
Миф №3
Деление шаров на прокатные и турнирные – уловка производителя.
На самом деле. Это все равно, что утверждать — все автомобили одинаковы (они все имеют двигатель, колеса, кузов и т.п.).
Отличительные признаки прокатных шаров:
— одноцветная оболочка (иногда прозрачная)
— наполнитель не очень яркий
— не очень ровный шов
— больший процент шаров имеющих далекую от идеальной форму
— нечеткая траектория полета
— более частые расколы в стволе или наоборот, при попадании в цель не раскалываются
— часто продаются в белых коробках без маркировки
Отличительные признаки турнирных шаров:
— двухцветная оболочка (иногда с добавлением цвета «металлик» или «перламутр»)
— наполнитель очень яркий (иногда с добавлением приятного запаха лимона, яблока, банана и т.п.)
— ровный шов
— близкая к идеальной форма
— четкая траектория полета, гарантированный раскол при попадании в цель
— продаются в цветных, принтованных коробках с маркировкой.
Условия хранения рекомендуемые производителями шаров – от 15 до 25 градусов Цельсия и от 40 до 50% относительной влажности. Температура и/или влажность за этими пределами считаются неблагоприятными и существенно влияют на поведение шарика. Чем дольше воздействие неблагоприятных условий, тем меньше вероятность обратимости этого эффекта — иногда 20-30 минут воздействия могут стать губительными для шара. Влажность меньше воздействует на шары, т.к. они упакованы в плотно закрытые пластиковые пакеты. Поэтому храните и используйте шары в соответствии с этими условиями. Снижайте, по мере возможности, воздействие неблагоприятных факторов на шары. Зимой – храните шары в теплых помещениях или машине, летом – не оставляйте шары на открытом солнце, в дождливую погоду закройте пластиковые пакеты и коробку, чтобы влага не воздействовала на шар.
